jackwabbit: (Castle-Big Damn Fic Writer)
Well, I said there'd be a week of celebration, and here we are. At another holiday type-thing. Some say this is a time for renewal and change and all of that, but I say why not more of the same?  There are some things in life that should stay constant.  No, not random silly holiday posts from yours truly...but more FIC!  Here are some new ones from me.  I hope you enjoy them.  There's something for everyone, so dig in!  Titles (behind the cuts with summaries, etc) are links to the fic on ff.net.

First, my dear Carson, with a holiday flair... )

And lest ye think I'm going soft...some Jack... )

And last but certainly not least, Mal. And Zoe. And a friend... )

Somebody out there probably thinks that a sweet little innocent wabbit would let this be an angst-free holiday, but...

"He don't know me very well, do he?"

Almost over!  This one is less than original for me to post, because it's already made its rounds, but I'm still enjoying it quite a lot, so I'm sharing.  And after all, what's a holiday without a little Firefly?

jackwabbit: (Monkeys!)
Ok, so new name.  I like alliteration.  Sue me.  Or you know, not.

So, here we go again, folks!  Sorry if I'm annoying anyone, but I'm having fun, so if so, well, bugger off!

My new favorite not-just-for-December ornament! )

Despite my continuing celebration and the awesomeness of KAZ and Hels that I got on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day itself was horrible for me.  I had a horrible day.  Just horrible.  Absolutely terrible and evil and bad.  Everything was just horrible.  Language ahead!

And by horrible, I mean totally awesome! )
jackwabbit: (Thumper-Laughing)
So, I meant it.  I'm celebrating Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa/Festivus/Jimmy's B-Day for at least a week this year.  Just too many lovelies not to!  Today, I bring some real world fun-here's a fabulous example of targeting!  Have a dog?  Some treats?  A clicker?  Some friends to keep you on track and share in your adventure?  Maybe by next holiday, you can do this, too!

jackwabbit: (Ninja Monkeys!)
And to celebrate, here's my first post in a week long funfest!  I just have too much to post to constrain myself to one day!  The first installment?  A follow up to the KAZ and Hels' Holiday Spectacular, wabbit style!  Duh.

A Ninja Night Before Christmas! )

Many of you know how much I love Jimmy Buffett, but it's likely that only a few of you know that today is his birthday.  He honored us Parrotheads with a little Christmas blog today, and I share it here because I quite frankly agree.  Enjoy your journey, folks.

From Margaritaville... )

Or, yet another episode of: Where's Waldo, Ninja Style!  (Only one red and white shirt this time, lothi!)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm very pleased to present the latest production from Team Hels and KAZ, friends of mine from Kids Need to Read. Many ninjas played a part in this one, and you'll find that yours truly has a few guest spots here, along with [livejournal.com profile] lemonpiefirefly and [livejournal.com profile] theylor , our fearless leader.

The whole thing was very Department of Defense, with none of us knowing what the others were up to, but it's finally all come together and each of our parts has made something greater than itself.

[livejournal.com profile] lemonpiefirefly , you know our dearest KAZ and Hels, and more of the jokes in this than most, but I'm sharing with everyone because I think even you non-KNTR types (What's wrong with you? Get on over to the The Softwire and join up! Then you'll understand about tennis racquets and cows and palm trees!) will enjoy a little scene at the end (5:50-6:15) complete with an interesting wardrobe choice.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] theylor - thank you so much for your part in this and for being who you are. I've enjoyed KNTR and the ninjas and you so much over the past while, and I hope to enjoy all of that for a long time to come. Thanks again. (Hugs Peej and recasts hair protection spell just to be safe.)

And now, the part you've all been waiting for! The Ninjas of Kids Need to Read, in some seriously silly holiday fun:
