And here we have a picture from the July 4th Point Robert's Parade (gakked from The Eclectic Fan here on LJ, who seems to have covered the event rather well) that I found beyond amusing.  Turns out David and Jane are Sparky fans!  (That's David dressed up like Shep (complete with black wristband, you know!) and Jane cosplaying Weir!  This brings a whole new level to fantasy...and I'm stopping now.)

Thanks to David for playing along and for tweeting the above link to let the world know of the fun!

My other favorite pic of the day! )

Liked The Guild, but lost interest, same with God Inc. Doctor Horrible is fantastic...which reminds me...we're hooked on Castle now!

LMAO.  Go David.  Circle of fandom, turn, turn, turn!  Tell us the shows that we should learn!

From David Hewlett's Twitter, August 26, 2008:

McGillion & me in the last shot of the last location we shoot in this series...it's raining :-(

Raining, indeed.

Love live Rodney McKay.  Love live David Hewlett.

Long live Carson Beckett.
Long. Live. Paul. McGillion.

So, apparently today is a day for me to not actually get any writing done despite being off work and unblocked in the idea department for some of my works-in-progress and instead find fun sites about things that excite me. C'est la vie.

For anyone who liked A Dog's Breakfast, may I present... Starcrossed.  Clicky the piccie for more info!

From the March 18 Sci-Fi Wire:  SCIFI.COM will also debut an original Web series called Starcrossed, a satirical show about an SF TV series, from Stargate Atlantis star David Hewlett. Jane Loughman and John G. Lenic (Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis) serve as executive producers, and Universal Media Studios is the production entity. The series will debut in the fourth quarter of this year.

And speaking of ninjas...might I recommend David Hewlett's film, A Dog's Breakfast?  Here's a lovely little fanvid by roddyshadow that gives us some Stargate music, parody, and Hewlettarian good times!  Can't get any better than that!
