So, a while back several people posted here about Horrible Turn, the fan-made internet musical prequel to Dr Horrible. If you haven't seen it, well, that's a crime. It's well worth your time, and I'm not the only person who thinks so. Apparently, the Streamys do, too. Yes, the official awards of the internet agree. Horrible Turn is nominated for Best Original Music.

How cool is that? A group of fans in Texas made a little movie and look what happened! Cool!

As a promotion for their nomination, the fans have made another little song for us to enjoy.

I heartily recommend this course of action!

So, Horrible Turn? Not bloody bad. The songs were lovely, the choreography was nice, it was well-produced, and young Captain Hammer, like, totally stole the show, man! (Though young Billy Buddy was nice, too.) Seriously, though, this is a well-thought-out and well-executed Dr Horrible prequel. The backstory is believable and while it's no match for the original (duh), Horrible Turn is a fun way to spend an hour. Be sure to stick around through the entire end credits for a truly horrifying but somehow strangely wonderful surprise.
