The Vidiians.
Species 8472.
The Hirogen.
The Borg.
And now, the Vau N’Akat.
They were all out there.
So were the unique fears and anxieties that came with being the first Starfleet Captain to be stranded in the Delta Quadrant – and the only one to return so far.
She stood on the bridge, feet wide and hands on her hips, and took a deep breath, in and out.
No one in their right mind would go back there.
Not with all of that waiting for them.
But Chakotay was out there, too.
And so she would go.
Boldly.
