Gwyn had been outside the door for a full twenty minutes.

Or at least periodically outside the door.

Her pacing up and down the corridor did at least break that up some.

Still, she was hovering, and she knew it.

She needed to just go in there and get the thing done.

She’d been wrong, and she knew that too.

So how hard could it be to apologize?

Turns out, it wasn’t easy.

But she was Vau N’Akat.

She stopped.

She breathed.

She actually said the words.

“There is no barrier we cannot overcome.”

Then she knocked on the door.
