To be alien means to be different.

And by that measure, the crew of the Protostar had never seen a more alien planet.

Everything was clean. Neat. Orderly.

And the inhabitants – they came in so many shapes and sizes and colors, which was amazing, but it was more than that. They were… nice. They weren’t concerned with money and they cared about others. There was no obvious illness and somehow everyone had enough to eat.

It was lovely.

But it would definitely take some getting used to.

Because the Protostar crew had never seen anything like this.

Earth was wild.
