“We have a problem.”

Hugh raised his eyebrows. “Oh?”

“He won’t fit.”

It took Hugh a moment, but eventually he understood.

“And you wanted to take him?”

Paul shrugged self-consciously.

Hugh shook his head at his eternally-surprising partner.

“Maybe we can get a bigger container.”

“I got the biggest one already.”

“We’ll figure it out.”

And that they did, though not in the way Hugh expected. Because no amount of changing bags or rearranging contents made Ricky fit into their luggage.

Which is how Paul ended up carrying a teddy bear under one arm all the way back to Earth
