Note: Another Ricky story, because I just can’t help myself. Also, this one is for LPFF, who gave me the plot bunny.

They stood near the door, embracing.

"I don't want you to go," murmured Paul.

"Me neither," answered Hugh.

"But you have to."

"I do."

"Okay, see you in two days," said Paul, finally letting go.

"See you then," said Hugh, stepping out the door reluctantly.

Paul sighed as the door shut, then went about his day.

That night, he discovered Hugh had left him something.

And as Paul tucked in, he held the soft, fuzzy gift close and smiled.

No longer alone, he knew he’d be okay. It was only two days.

And he and Ricky could handle two days.
