Otherwise, he might not have believed it.
Hugh, wearing an outfit he’d favored nearly thirty years ago. One that Ricky, Hugh’s childhood teddy bear, wore with pride, but that was far too flamboyant for the very grown up Doctor Culber. One Paul never thought would see the light of day again.
No, much like most of Discovery’s crew thinking they’d hallucinated a laughing and dancing astromycologist, Paul might have thought he’d had too much to drink.
Except for two things:
One, they’d served synthehol.
And two, he very vividly remembered taking that outfit off.
