Yeah, that part is gross.

But it's so stupidly gross that it doesn't bother me. Gross is ok. Just not scary in the psychological way for me.

And you can't beat Jack's tirade about being out of Mr. Pibb!

Uh... I'm gonna stick with "no". I watched a clip just now after searching for the gag reel again I'm Bill Pardy, and I was getting flashbacks from a nightmare I had last week! But, if you can get through Slither, Silence of the Lambs is a piece of cake.

Totally different. People who eat people exist in this world. Slugs that make people zombies do not.

Blood and guts don't bother me (unless it's just completely gratuitous, like in Precinct 13, which was totally dumb). But real world scary does.

I laughed my ass off at SLiTHER.

It's one of the funniest movies I've seen in years.

Not scary in the least.

It's beyond stupid, but not scary.

And there's ship, and angst, and did I mention it's funny?

But to each their own.

I don't think you should see SLiTHER.

It's not your thing.

As for me and Silence of the Lambs:

Once again, I say...never, never, never, never, never.

Yep, five. My highest rating. Absolutely no interest at all and if someone was watching it, I'd leave. I wouldn't even be in the same house. Never. And for good measure:

I don't know, but it is. I say it all the time at work. My techs know that it means 'I screwed up' or 'I'm a dumbass'.

And the Lyme Disease line...oh, man...you need to find that clip. I live in Lyme Disease Central, and just the other day, when I was putting tick prevention on my dogs, and they were pitching a fit about it, I told them we had to do it. Wouldn't want them to turn into squids, now, would we?

However, it reminded me of something. I was talking to the parents of a business associate, and they told me that they have Michael Rooker over a lot as a regular house guest. I replied, "The guy from Slither?" And, they rolled their eyes at me and nodded. They didn't like that film either.

PS-I expected to be scared of SLiTHER, but it was so stupid that I couldn't be. And I was laughing too hard. I don't do scary at all, but I sucked it up for SLiTHER. Then I found out it wasn't so bad. And I love Shaun of the Dead sooo much. But anything that takes itself seriously is a whole other matter. Those two movies are ok because they make the entire horror movie thing so ridiculous that it's not scary.

There are a few scenes in SLiTHER that I fast forward, though, just because. They are a bit too gross. But any movie with zombie deer is ok by me!

But even thinking about Hannibal Lecter?

I saw Sleeping With The Enemy and it scared me for MONTHS.

These things happen to real people who live in our world. You know them. So do I.

Why would I let them into my home?

Why would I remind myself of the atrocities committed by devils in button down shirts? (Quoting the only episode of The X-Files that scares me there-Irresistible.)
