I've tried.
I really have.
I don't know how many times I've tried to get him to use an electric razor.
But no. He just gives me that looks and says, "That's just wrong, Peter." in that way he has that brooks no argument.
Well, no sane argument, anyway.
So here I am, at two in the morning, scouring the twenty-four hour drug store for razor blades because Walter has to shave right now and can't be bothered to get them himself.
Not that I'd let him if he tried, because even if he managed not to kill himself or get lost on the way to the store, he'd get the wrong ones and I'd just have to come back anyway.
Of course, they've rearranged the store since my last emergency visit, so it takes me forever to find them.
But eventually, I grab what I came for and head to the checkout.
That's when I see it.
It's in the next aisle over, on the top shelf, and it barely registers in my periphery, but once it does, I have to swallow hard to keep from throwing up.
Damn.
Who knew that hair dye should have a trigger warning?

And of COURSE Peter would go to the store at 0200 for Walter. If for no other reason than to shut him up. Or at least that's what he'd tell himself. Or maybe it'd be a bit of:
"Your father is walking around the house naked."
"Yeah, it's Tuesday."
Because it's normal for them. ;)
I can't wait for you to get to the end. Also, I was scooping the yard today (oh, the glory of my life!) and I had a vid moment...hint, hint. :D

Date: Mar. 27th, 2015 05:34 pm (UTC)Peter and Olivia in "The End of All Things." Peter breaking it off and the rain starting. Just a tiny thing.
Overall, the song is a happy, upbeat one, so not too many serious scenes for it, but that one might work (though I obviously bow to the muse!). I like that song for a more gen vid, though. Lots of smiles and Walter and monsters with some ship (all the ships - Peter/Olivia, Lincoln/Fauxlivia, some good Charlie fun, etc) thrown in here and there.
