Just once, Gwen wanted a normal weekend.
But she wouldn’t get that today.
Today, she sat in the ER, waiting on Jason – again.
When the doctors were done with him, he sheepishly grinned at her.
“Thanks for bringing me.”
Gwen waved him off. “Just promise me you won’t try to fix the lawn mower again.”
“And have it best me? No way. Never give…”
Gwen cut him off.
“Don’t. Even. Say. It.”
Jason clamped his mouth shut for once.
After all, Galaxy Quest had taught him two things.
One, never wrestle a rock monster.
And two, never argue with Tawny Madison.
