Before my parents found religion, they weren’t so bad.
When I was really little, they seemed normal. And they taught me things, even though I was small. Things I’ve needed now that they’re gone.
Like, I can sew with the best of folks. Give me a torn up jacket on a blown up body, and I’ve got a new coat. I don’t mind where it came from. I can fix shoes and such, too. Comes in handy out here.
But I never thought I’d be patching up flesh, much less human flesh.
Dammit, Nolan, what the hell were you thinking?
