Yeah, you know me, I don't think Wil is a very good choice at all.

Poor Mac-he did get my vote. But whumped isn't so bad, is it? *grin*

Mac does seem to have a talent for getting whumped. Maybe he should be the Secretary of Whumpage.

And you certainly have been particularly outspoken in your disdain and contempt for Mr. WW. I'm wondering what lies behind your deep-seated antipathy . . .

Well, I would've thrown Wesley out an airlock gladly, but I never did quite get around to joining alt.wesley.die.die.die, so I'm not so bad as some. Of course, I didn't have internet then...

Now, of course, I just stick to the two mantras of a good fan:

1-Don't Be A Dick! 2-WWWWD?

I saved my venom for the writers who couldn't find a way to get Wesley out of the pit of egregious cliché. Hell, WW was his first and greatest victim. I loved the velvet Wesley painting Scalzi gave him.

Yeah...I was young. Ever so much under twenty. I never blamed Wil (much), but I did hate the character and had not yet the understanding to blame TPTB.

WW was indeed the first and greatest victim of those TPTB, and even he tossed Wesley as soon he could. Of course, that choice has given him nothing but angst ever since, but no decision is without consequence. (*wabbit feels the need to go watch her widescreen Nemesis to see a little Wesley return*)

On another note, the velvet painting is effing awesome.

OH, and if you've never read or heard Wil's TNG reviews...oh, boy. More on that later this month. (hint, hint)
