2 - Favorite Movie of the Original Trilogy

Oh, lords, this is tough... except not really. It's Return of the Jedi. Yes, Empire is the better film, but my favorite film is ROTJ, even though I find myself wavering occasionally in my later years. Gods, Empire is good. I recently watched it on TV and turned to hubby and said, "You know, this movie really is amazing. Despite everything, it's just fantastic." I stand by that 100%. But no, my favorite is Jedi. Once again, the reasons are simple and age-related. I was flat-out smitten by Jedi as a wee one. E.T. first started my interest in the fantastic, but Jedi... well, I was smitten. That is the only word for it. Return of the Jedi largely shaped my life in that it shaped my love of sci-fi and shiny (preferably green) lightsabers. End of story. YUB-NUB!
