And Speaking of Auld Lang Syne...
Jan. 1st, 2012 03:30 am...check out December 12 in the December Lady Advent Calendar from this year. I'm rather proud of it, and you know what? It turns out that it doesn't take nearly as long as you'd think to type out every X-Files episode title! Who knew?
Oh, and December 2 (a fun and fast fill in for an unclaimed day) and 8 (ditto, thus the shippiness of it - not usually quite my style) were made by me, too. But my favorite this year, by a long shot, is December 19. It's totally my new holiday desktop. Yup, it's the one to beat. To top it all off, this year, the calendar was even more fun than usual. In addition to the daily squee, we were also served daily flashbacks of years past on the main calendar page here. and even two full "vintage" calendars, recently recovered from the ether of the internet. A phile I only know as northernlights1013 supplied the images from 2001, 2003, and 2004. How fun! With these now in the archives, the only year missing from this ten-year extravaganza is 2002. How cool is that?
