So, I didn't have a Facebook account until the other day.  I had to get one to watch this.

It was so worth it.  Here there be foul language!  Ye have been warned!

You've never seen Drive?

That's ok.  Nobody else has, either.

But if you're not allergic...

I promise we can have some fun with this gag reel!

Oh, Nathan...you silly man...you're supposed to put the truck in park, honey.  Drive is just the name of the show.

lmao...Oh Nathan...hee

I don't have Facebook/MySpace/any of the stuff. I must be part of a very small minority that doesn't.

I just find it pointless...

Um...you have an LJ.

I didn't have any of the above until April of this year. I resisted doing any blogging type thing at all for a long time, since I really didn't want to waste even more of my time online. But after I thought long and hard about it, I signed up for LJ because several friends I already had through my fanfic and some message boards were here, and because I realized just how many people post fic here when I spent some time playing in the Stargate Fan Awards in order to put my nominated stuff in the right categories.

And I've enjoyed it.

Since then, as I expected, I have created a myspace and (just now) a Facebook account. I do not use either one of them to post anything, but I read some things from friends there and keep tabs on a few celebs, etc.

It works for me.

But again...um...you have an LJ. It's the same thing.

And yes, LMAO at this vid...oh so wrong, and so right!

actually I view Facebook/MySpace and LJ as completly differnt things. they're more of social networking where as while LJ does have a social aspect to it, it's more of a blogging server.

But we can agree to disagree if you want :D

I do actually agree with you, (See response to Cleo's comment below.) but I think it's a subtle difference for many. I use LJ as my only posting place because it, um, seems to lend itself more to writing, but since I've never actually used the other places to post, I suppose I'm clueless.

And there certainly are some serious spots on those other places, I guess it's all in how someone uses them.

Have 'em, don't use 'em... and agreeing that they're pretty much pointless.

Re the gag reel: LMAO! My favorite part? Counting his sneezes. I've done that SOOOOO many times...

I can't sneeze less than three times. In fact, it's almost always three straight up. Thus the pic I picked.

As for the other bloggy things, I do agree they seem more social. This why I chose LJ. However, I do enjoy Nathan's blog, and Jewel Staite's, too. And Dark Horse Comic's online comics series on myspace is great. Joss Whedon's latest online Serenity mag was fab.

So, again, while I've never posted anything there, it serves some purposes.

I couldn't watch this vid without logging in. Did you guys manage it?

My sole use for Facebook was playing Scrabulous with my sister. Ever since Hasbro sued the Scrabulous creators and Facebook had to take the game down and replace it with the eye-sore "official" Scrabble, I haven't been there much. Sometime back, though, I indicated for it to just leave me logged in all the time, so I didn't have to "log in", I already was.

As for MySpace... well, most of my online socialization is done here or on Yahoo groups. MySpace and Facebook have always seemed to me more like popularity contests than actual socialization.

Most of my sneezes are in threes, too, thus why I found it so funny!

That sucks about your game. And as you know, ditto on my online social stuff. AO, jackfic, and here is it. And a lot of private e-mails and such about fic. And my groups overlap a lot. But a few friends use msp, so I read their stuff there. On occasion. I find it cumbersome, though. But for Nate, I endure.

Now, on to more important things:
Greetings and salutations, fellow sneezer of threes!

One of the new additions is a Pumpkin Pie Power-up... Obama gets a suit jacket and sunglasses :)

See my icon? That's how I feel about a pumpkin pie power up. For oh so many reasons.

Exactly. And that is all.
