So, I reached 50 K tonight.  Oh, and I'm done, too.  That is all.

I got back up, dusted myself off, and managed to put in about 2500+ words 'fore my hubby demanded the bedroom this morning. (Did I mention that my writing time is ALSO limited by the fact that my computer is in my bedroom....where my DH sleeps all day due to 3rd-shift-itis? Yeah. It's a wonder I ever get anything done at my desk.) *eyeroll*

I never write with anything on. I've tried, but I find that it's very hard to hear the voice in my head over the external noise--and let's face it, HE's running this show. Not me. LOL 'Sides, if I ask him what he prefers, I get some smart ass answer usually involving something suggestive accompanied by a mental striptease. EEK! TMI, sorry. *contemplates strangling the Muse...will wait till next week*

How can that small snippet of music evoke EVERY SINGLE EMOTION EVER in a mere two minute span? John Williams, you are the Jedi Master. *bows*

Good for you! That's great! I can't imagine having the puter in the bedroom. Yikes! Mine is across the hall, and that is enough to put hubby in a grumpy mood just from keystrokes! Ugh.

And I completely understand where you're coming from on the quiet while writing thing. To each their own, but for me, writing is solitary and silent. I cannot define my muse, as you can, and I don't know that I actually hear anything (except that one time-you shut up, lemonpie!), but I do completely dive into the story, so to speak, and it's all I experience. Anything else distracts me. Oh, and I read out loud a lot, too. Esp dialogue. That's how I know if it sounds right.

But back to your muse...not TMI at all...in fact, that's lovely!

Thanks for the image...but don't strangle. That's not nice, you know...cough, cough...on that note, good night!

And John Williams is a god...if you don't listen too closely to Hook and Home Alone, that is...but hey, it's ok to reuse themes! Where would fiction (or music) be without that? *grinning like the certified John Williams fangirl that I am*
