When I first discovered them, I was gobsmacked.

I couldn’t believe how worn they were!

It’s not like they’re old.

And when you consider their usual audience, it’s just weird.

So weird I decided to ignore it.

That is, until the night I discovered him drunk and laughing like a lunatic with one of them in his hands.

That’s when I understood.

He’s cackling again tonight. I look at Annie, and I know she knows what he’s up to as well as me.

Because only one thing makes him laugh like that.

Oh, yes. Mitchell’s reading the Twilight books again.
