I can’t believe this.

I want to rage against it.

I want to hit something.

Throw something.

Smash something to tiny bits.

But if I did that, I’d only spend the next couple hours putting it back together again. That’d be a nice distraction, but in the end I’d be right back where I started.

I guess I’m just your failed experiment.

I’d speak up if I thought it’d make any difference, but I know there’s only one answer to this equation, and it’s clear it doesn’t include me.

After all, I’m an engineer, sweetheart.

I can do the math.

I *knew* I heard the wheels turn as soon as you said, "he can do the math. He *is* an engineer" (or, you know, real world quotem to that effect, as passed through my Main Idea Filter). Hell, *my* wheels turned at that. I almost said something, but that little...pause or whatever...made me know the Bunny Already Bit.

And yeah, I bet you could hear the wheels turning. They are, in fact, a bit rusty. Okay. A lot rusty. (Then again, these particular wheels are brand, spanking new, so...hm...)

I just watched ENT for the first time recently. I enjoyed it - far more than I expected to. And Trip? Oh, be still my heart. Love him!
