OhBoyOhBoyOhBoy! It's the other Doctor Beckett!

I found the entire Quantum Leap panel from Dragon*Con online! I missed this panel simply because I didn't see it in the program and I was so bummed! But through the miracle of the internet, I can watch now. SQUEE! It's in four parts, covering the entire thing. Thank you Project Quantum Leap!

Dean Stockwell and Scott Bakula together for the first time in fifteen years!

You're welcome. I thought some might enjoy it.

I've only watched the first part. Going to finish today!

And as for SG, good. I'm glad I got it right. As for S6, well...I understand. For me, it was a non-issue because I'd been spoiled, so I just kept right on going. I understand if one wasn't, it would have been a bigger deal.

As for fandom, here's my quick story:

All my life: Trek and Wars, with TNG introducing me to long-winded dissections of episodes and cons and such. Read novels and paperbacks of both for as long as I can remember.

College: TXF introduced me to fanfic (I only read, though), forums, chat rooms, etc.

Post-graduate: SG led me to write fic, return to cons (found one via startrek.com's "other conventions" thread and never looked back), meet several good friends and deepen friendships with others, etc. It is the writing fic part that I'm most grateful for. That led me to my SFX blogging, my KNTR blogging, etc. So much joy in my life that I would not have if not for SG. SG also led me to Firefly, in that the Teal'c homage line finally made me watch that show everyone talked about. Firefly led me to the Firefly fandom, which led me to PJ Haarsma and KNTR directly, etc. So, yeah. Indebted.

But in the end, no matter how important SG is to me, the old saying is true, and always will be:

"The X-Files is the be all and end all of internet fandom."

There's always something about your first, and TXF was the world's first internet fandom - not just mine. Before Mulder and Scully, there was no public internet, so...yeah. Be all and end all.

The Truth is Out There. Always.
