May I take this moment to plug Nathan's buddy PJ Haarsma and his Softwire Forums?  Nathan and PJ founded KNTR, Kids Need To Read, a charity that donates selected books to libraries in need.  This is a cause near and dear to my heart, so I spread the word.

HI! Small world! Nice to see you here! This LJ is brand new for me, and to be honest, I'm finding it a little bothersome for posting fic, but I think that's just newness. I have so many stories that I don't think I'll be moving them all over here, but rather posting selected ones or new ones, etc.

However, I'm really liking the communities thing. I like finding new places to share certain stories (I've written two for ff_friday, and plan to continue that, and I have a few pieces I may put over on mal_inara, etc). It's just nice to be able to browse fic only by ship and whatnot.

I'll have to go read some of your young Mal fic. Sounds fun!

I just started a story last PM that will expand the universe of my 'Dreamer' Firefly fic, and deals mostly with a young character. I find those tons of fun, but I only do one every now and again. (Kyle Rogers in my SG-1 fic is probably my favorite character, and I get a lot of feedback on him-they are few and far between, but those young ones, for me, are just so tenacious! They grab you and won't let go!)

But I'm rambling and I have to get back to work, so I'll talk to you later.
