Dude. Somehow, an entire universe of lovely managed to escape my attention until now. Apparently, it's three years old (and ongoing!), and it's absolutely beautiful for a comics geek like me. It's a whole series of parody videos loosely based on the "I'm a Mac. And I'm a PC" Apple ad campaign.

I've watched several of the vids now, and while there are many inside jokes, you don't have to be a comics freak to understand much of the humor here - especially not in this vid, the 100th video anniversary special. It's Iron Man! It's Batman! And it's musical! What's not to love?*

*Besides the small fact that Kick-Ass is owned by Marvel and Iron Man implies it's not (sorta).

Another one of my favorites. I started to quote my favorite bits of this one, but there are just too many. From Punisher lamenting being surrounded by "cartoon characters" to Tony Stark "buying the whole bar" and "wanting Coco Puffs" to Charles Xavier cheating at chess...do yourself a favor. Just watch this one:

And then there's this one, with its "You know, I just want to point out how disturbing it is that the two of YOU are looking to ME to brighten your day." line. Watch and understand:

And here's the original, as a bonus. The one that started it all. That *ahem* makes a few valid points.

Oh, I see many of my free minutes being "wasted" on this YouTube channel! Bwahahaha!

And just to be clear, I don't hate Detective Comics. Not one bit. I read Supes for many years, and the Bat is, well, the Bat. I like Green Lantern and Justice League, too. But for me, they cannot rival G.I. Joe, Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and dear Gambit. So, alas, when it comes down to it, I'm Stan's girl all the way.* Excelsior!

*Though my current books are two Marvel titles, one IDW title, one BOOM! title, and two Dark Horse mini-series. Huh. Yay for parity, I suppose.

I know, right? I laughed my ass off at that bit! In fact, I was just saying it in my kitchen just now!

And I don't watch Community, but I'll check out the link anyway.

How could you not be?

Honestly, while I posted the musical one first because I thought more people would get it, I love the one in the bar best.

Frank Castle just sitting there bitching, Spidey trying to be all friendly with him then slowly walking away when he cocks his gun, etc, etc, etc...but best of all:

(Tony Stark singing, etc.)
"What did you let him drink for? He's an alcoholic!"
"I gathered that around the fifth round of Jager. Although a heads up would've been nice."
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have mentioned your movies."
"Maybe you shouldn't have invited him to a BAR."
