Firefly is only a TV show. A TV show that is no more. A damn fine TV show that is no more, but only a TV show nonetheless. But sometimes a simple TV show can be so much more. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Someone once said that "Firefly changed me. It changed my whole life...I made lifelong friends who have improved the quality of my life."**
That someone was right. Dead center, spot on, 100% correct.
Part Two:

*LPFF, check out minute 5:35 in Part One-where'd that kid get that bling?
*Lothi, check out minute 3:16 in Part Two-the Doctor's a Browncoat!

And here's a little vid to prove it.
Thanks be to MALi for making this one, and thanks be to CW, CrazyLady, KK, RW, Debb, MizB, Tsyoshi, Skylar, Marisa, the Peej, and even those pesky Fillions (both of 'em!) for their parts in this piece of lovely.
Gratitude goes out to the California Browncoats, too, as well as James A. Owen, Frank Beddor, and everyone who donated to KNTR at Comicon and elsewhere. Oh, and love to civilized fans everywhere, as, well, you're my people.
Together, we can do great things, folks.

Uncommon love born of uncommon things, and uncommon folk.
Yes.
I think that is what I have been trying to say for a long, long time.
