Sometimes I forget how diverse Earth is, but at “Christmastime” on Atlantis, I remember how many nations share that world and how different they can be. I can’t help it. Holidays past force me to remember.
I remember confusion that first year, when John told me of Santa Claus.
I remember intrigue the following year, when I learned of the menorah.
I remember fellowship just last year, when Radek shared his pot of honey with me.
They are lovely memories. But this year, I fear I will remember only one thing: regret.
For I never learned of Christmas in Scotland.
