It’s a funny thing, realizing something is entirely your fault.
It’s human nature to blame anyone else, but sometimes that simply can’t be done. Sometimes, blame must be placed squarely on your shoulders. That’s a bitter pill to swallow, but no matter how you resist, eventually it slides down into your stomach and settles there.
I should know.
I’ve had a dose named Charlie in my gut for years.
Most days, I hardly notice it. Time does that. But other days, it refluxes with a vengeance.
I always manage to force it back down, but man, the aftertaste is brutal.
