Oh, I understand that. Most of the TV I've watched in the last few years has been because my mom had it on. NCIS, Law & Order, Criminal Minds, etc... pretty much only when she's home and plugged in.

Exactly. I call it second hand TV, and I consider it nearly as annoying as second hand smoke. (I exaggerate, but not by much.)
