A blast from the past!

I have no doubt this is an old Friday night tape, but what it specifically holds I do not know. Anyone want to guess? Believe it or not, hubby is using the VCR right now to watch our wedding tape, which neither of us had ever watched, in an attempt to find a dead relation as a comfort for someone. (How do you think I found this?)

So, alas, I must wait to see what treasures this ancient device holds. What fun!

For now, though, I must get to bed, as work comes early.

I have a few of those! Heck, I think I have a few of those that have SG-1 season four and five episodes on them... :D

I found another one that is labeled with a Post-It on the outside.

Said note says:

Show Order:
Stargate SG-1
Stargate Atlantis
Inside SG-1's 200th episode

(So, spoilers at the end! It aired first but I taped the rebroadcast!)

Then in script that is undeniably lemonpiefirefly 's, there are little postscripts to the SG-1 and SGA lines that read "SG-1 Monster Ep" and "The Real World."

So, I was still taping in season ten! (LPFF went to Vegas the week 200 aired - this I do recall.)

Ooo! A precious artifact! Be sure you get those hieroglyphs translated. They look remarkably like letters.

They do indeed, but my initial thoughts must be in error, as so far the artifact has turned up nothing but references to races known as Klingons, Vulcans, and the Borg. Hm...intriguing...

Tee-hee! I was unpacking my VCR tapes into what is, for the time-being, the "Media Closet" (we need more than one ;) )and found some SG tapes someone tapes for me that I had lovingly labeled in purple. *sigh*

Not sure 'bout the 'ol SG*U. (Glen insists on a break between SG and U {hmmm, prophetic/ symbolic??} because as a Skeptic podcast and general follower, he maintains that SGU is "Skeptics Guide to the Universe").

Also in said closet are Mac, Greatest American Hero, TXF, Muppet Show, and everything from Caddyshack to Cutthroat Island, Long Kiss Goodnight to Galaxy Quest. Need to build more Trek, but likely won't stuff in closet, but leave online or something. Unless I come across a nifty Potteresque expanding room.

I have all TXF on tape still, but also on DVD, so...yeah.

Not much else remains on tape, but I refuse to part with my lovingly labeled Mulder and Scully.

Ah, the memories...back when you had to research things on that new and weird "world wide web" in order to find episode titles because Chris Carter didn't put them on screen and fanfic.net did not exist.
