Forgive me for double-posting, but you can't talk cliffhangers without this guy, so I have no choice.

After all, resistance is futile.  Article is still here.

If you need it, there's an episode summary, with air dates and some wicked anti-spoiler devices(damn straight!) here!

Oh man! That was one looooooong summer right there. I didn't hear any rumors/spoilers at the time, being that my friends and I had no idea what the internet was, ha ha.

Putting out fake spoilers like that, thought? Would ruin it for us spoiler-lovers. So in trying to not ruin their idea of how things should be experienced, they're ruining ours! That just seems mean. Just sayin' . . . :-P

Not sure I agree with the rest of the list. Angel in particular had a couple better cliffhangers than the one they chose. And so did Lost.

The article was a complete 'meh' for me, except for the ST:TNG entry. Almost every series they listed is one I haven't seen, so it struck me as a good illustration of the breathtakingly short-term nature of pop culture memory. My own list would have to begin with Blake's 7 and include Babylon 5 and Stargate, and an older Who than Doctor #5. I must be a fuddy-duddy.

Their classic Who entry was passable -- but given that every single episode of Doctor Who ends with a cliffhanger, except the episodes that conclude stories (1 in 4, on the average), it's a very, very full slate there.
