HAHAHA!  So wrong, but so right.  And in this vein, today I found this.  It's an article from io9 on "How To Reboot Star Wars," and it's loads of fun.  Not to mention, it's spot on and for you guys (however few of you there may be), there's a lovely Carrie Fisher pic as a bonus!

Truthfully, I wish no harm to the maker. I do, however, think that in the right hands and many years from now, a remake might just work.

I don't get the two characters being aghast at the third guy's comment. Everyone I know that has seen SW has said the same thing. Maybe I just hang out with a lot of geeks.

Ah. That would make sense. I think all the geeks that I know who want a revamp of SW were referring to George dying of natural causes decades from now. He may have ruined his own beloved scifi series, but no one I know has that much animosity towards him.
