“You’re the first officer. Ask away.”
“Very well. The next time we encounter a Romulan ship…”
“Not bloody likely to be anytime soon now, is it?”
“Nevertheless, I would appreciate a consideration in that situation if and when it occurs.”
“So long as the captain approves.”
“Oh, I am quite certain he agrees.”
“Alright, then. What’ll it be?”
“I would most appreciate it if you allowed me to choose the destination for any transporter events.”
“I’m never living that down, am I?”
“Never, Mr. Scott.”
