Hehe, hey, I'm not arguing! :-) I didn't even know who Simon Pegg was until he got cast, so I was pretty sour for a moment. He's a very funny guy and all, but part of me honestly wonders if he didn't get the preference for his slightly more pop-culture appeal. Even though I've not seen it, I know that Sean of the Dead is still gleaning afterglow benefits of popularity, and the fanbase isn't all that far skewed from the genre film lover core. He was The Name. That was my gut at the time and it still is. I enjoyed him, but he didn't make or break things for me. Though he certainly did resonate a lot more when they got him in the correct get-up. LOL
