They all knew the risks.

Some more than others, but they were all Starfleet.

And weird was part of the job – as was danger.

Still, she knew this particular scenario better than anyone else on the bridge.

She took a deep breath, then nodded.

“Take us into the wormhole,” she ordered.

The helmsman obeyed, fingers only barely hesitating.

And just like that, they were all on the away team.

Literally.

This was a different type of away mission to be sure, but it was about as away as one could get.

And she had only one thought:

We’re coming, Chakotay.
