Summary: Patrick never understood David’s clothes – until he did.
Note: Written for the random word prompt of “loose.” Lords help me.

-----

Patrick wasn’t Scottish.

And he had no questions in the gender department.

So he’d never been interested in wearing skirts or kilts.

Except – David did have a lot of them, and he loved them so.

Patrick always wondered why.

Until one day, he wondered no more. He just tried it.

He put on a kilt to do some housework.

And suddenly he got it.

The kilt was swishy in all the right ways, and the breeze was breezy in all the right places.

And if, when David came home, he discovered the accessibility feature, well, that was just a bonus.

-----

A/N: yes, Patrick likely wore femme clothes in theater at some point, but that’s different. And while I wanted to put him in a truly swishy skirt, in my experience, men usually start with kilts. Gender and all.
