Summary: There are some things in the Organa-Solo household that are better left unannounced.
Disclaimer: Anyone other than Lucas owning the holy trilogy is a good thing, but alas, it ain’t me.

When he lost his first tooth, he didn’t tell anyone.
He had a plan, see. He’d just keep his mouth shut. No one would notice.
They did, of course, because this plan went as well as all his others – after all, the odds of him keeping quiet were nearly incalculably small, even by Threepio’s standards.
So his father doted on him, his mother smiled, and his uncle nodded.
Meanwhile, Chewbacca roared and smacked him on the back, rattling the rest of his dentition, then demanded the tooth for some sort of ritual.
And they wondered why he’d tried to hide it.
