Just got back from Watchmen. FINALLY got to see it.
HOLY SO INCREDIGOODNESS, BATMAN!
So, read it in December. What they did with the book was as close to a perfect adaptation as you could ever achieve. The casting? HOLY mother-of-PEARL, was it good ('cept Veidt didn't fit as well, but really...Daniel WAAAAAS Daniel!). And the beginning sequence to fill in the history? AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! Anything that can make me like a Dylan song is transcendently bad ass.
