KAZ and HELS' Holiday Spectacular!
Dec. 25th, 2008 02:50 pmOr, yet another episode of: Where's Waldo, Ninja Style! (Only one red and white shirt this time, lothi!)
Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm very pleased to present the latest production from Team Hels and KAZ, friends of mine from Kids Need to Read. Many ninjas played a part in this one, and you'll find that yours truly has a few guest spots here, along with
lemonpiefirefly and
theylor , our fearless leader.
The whole thing was very Department of Defense, with none of us knowing what the others were up to, but it's finally all come together and each of our parts has made something greater than itself.
lemonpiefirefly , you know our dearest KAZ and Hels, and more of the jokes in this than most, but I'm sharing with everyone because I think even you non-KNTR types (What's wrong with you? Get on over to the The Softwire and join up! Then you'll understand about tennis racquets and cows and palm trees!) will enjoy a little scene at the end (5:50-6:15) complete with an interesting wardrobe choice.
Oh, and
theylor - thank you so much for your part in this and for being who you are. I've enjoyed KNTR and the ninjas and you so much over the past while, and I hope to enjoy all of that for a long time to come. Thanks again. (Hugs Peej and recasts hair protection spell just to be safe.)
And now, the part you've all been waiting for! The Ninjas of Kids Need to Read, in some seriously silly holiday fun:
1. Always Hug A Palm Tree.
2. Have Lots Of Fun.
3. Drink Ninjaritas.
4. Throw Virtual Parties.
5. Kids Need To Read.
6. Promote Rings Of Orbis.
7. Always Move Forward.
8. Avoid Paddle Raquets.
9. Auction The Captain.*
10. Love Every Ninja.
11. Fear Nothing.
And the additional universal truth: MALi Nagging Peej!
*not this captain, sillies, the famous one!

Date: Dec. 25th, 2008 10:17 pm (UTC)And I agree that this Waldo isn't very good at hiding, is he?
Oh, well. That's ok with me. After all, us ninjas aren't very invisible, either, are we? *big honkin grin*
I had posted this vid in a semi-private custom post last night (with access for me, LPFF, Peej, and two other friends only) but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to share the love a bit more than that, and going for the Waldo theme just seemed the best way to rewrite things.
Anyway...off to watch again myself!
*raises ninjarita-cheers to my fellow ninja!*

and OH, the karate bits they used (and abused) of you are GREATNESS.
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
and, and...oh, so much.
Will comment on the Softwire when I can. Had to check this last thing before heading south to Austin and beyond for my Christmas stuff; I wait much longer and I'll fall asleep!
Nice chuckles to cap the day.
No pun intended ;)

Date: Dec. 27th, 2008 04:34 am (UTC)I was nervous about the martial arts stuff. It was a late add to cover for someone who couldn't do their part. I filmed that with my ancient little camera. I could only film 15 sec at a time...and I filmed myself. Yeah, good times. But Darren is, apparently, a god.
And all is well.
Glad you liked it.
I'll send word to Hels and KAZ for you a bit, but yeah...you should come say hi when you get a chance, because, well, you should, dammit!
You're the best ninja of all-so stealthy! *grin*
Stay safe.
Oh, and NICE SIGN OFF!!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!
