They’re after LJ because it’s the main platform, in Russia, for free political commentary and discussion, with one particular major anti-corruption blogger as the #1 target. And there are elections coming up in Russia.
Our fannish activities are being messed up because LJ is fighting for freedom of speech in a hostile world . . . which has made me much fonder of LJ than I have been for quite a while.
