You know, it's funny...I started out a JackSam shipper (but never a ridiculous one and I never wanted resolution, for cryin' out loud!), but not it's anathema to me. I still like some of my J/S stories, mostly because they are angsty and not all fluffy, but I'm so into Sam/Teal'c since I saw Unending that I can't even see straight. But to be fair, I have absolutely no loyalty.
I see Jack/Sam, Jack/Janet, Sam/Daniel, Jack/Daniel, Daniel/Janet, Sam/Teal'c...and the list goes on...
I just simply have no OTP. None. If a muse is kind enough to take up residence in my brain, I write what she tells me, regardless of pairing or path...just how I work.
I had a very hard time placing this fic into a category when it got nominated for an SGFA because to me it's not really shippy, but it isn't NOT shippy...in my mind, it's more what I call 'friendship plus', which is still friendship...and that last line was torture (to use 'sir' or 'love'?)...and can be ambiguous (thus why 'love' was chosen), or so I've been told...anyway...off for now!
