I played around with it for a while also -- Reverb mostly gets Stephen King, with occasional Dan Brown (ugh). Shorter segments get James Joyce (!) or H. G. Wells (!!) Aftershocks consistently got J. D. Salinger, while Up a Long Ladder got Douglas Adams or James Joyce again.
Then I went over to ff.net, copied a couple of thousand words of the most appalling piece of unreadable, incoherent dreck I could find quickly -- the kind with bad spelling, no punctuation, etc. -- and tried that.
