Saw Mad Max: Fury Road again tonight. Spoiler alert: it holds up.
And this time, I cried a little at the end. That's how beautiful this movie is for me. Shiny-eyed glory all the way. I sat there for a minute, gathering myself, and then left the theater. I then got into a conversation about how pretty the movie was and how glorious it is with two men in the lobby. It was a short talk, but it went all the way to our cars, which happened to be parked next to one another. On the way home, in said vehicle, I literally yelled out the awesome, because I could; because I saw this movie completely by myself and that meant I was free to do as I chose, without fear of embarrassment or side-eyes.
What a lovely day.
