I'm More of a Scully Fan, But...
Jun. 12th, 2012 03:52 pm...as I said on Twitter, "YES! A thousand times yes!" to this vid. I vaguely remember this floating around in bootlegs years ago, but I had forgotten all about it until Whedonesque tweeted it yesterday. I'm so happy they did. I made my morning. I had just gotten home from work and was settling in, so it was perfect. Also, I'm still laughing at it. Oh, the lovely!
Seriously, Janeane Garofalo! (You know how I feel about Janeane Garofalo!) Jerry O'Connell! Brad Pitt on the Fight Club set! And Jerry Springer, who quite frankly cracks me up in this! Rosie and Whoopi ain't bad, either. Oh, X-Files. You really were the absolute shit. I love you for always. Oh, and that opening line? "It's Sunday night, I am curled up in my room..." Yes. This. On Sundays, when I was in college and early veterinary school, this is how my life went: I locked my door. I turned off both my phone and my answering machine (yes, I had those archaic devices). And I turned on the TV. And woe to anyone who dared disturb me from eight to nine o'clock. X-Files hour was sacred, and not to be trifled with. Period.
