...and you know that one hundred words a day is a drabble a day, right? I mean, come on. Translated to wabbitspeak, that means a fic a day of at least drabble length (though the December 2007 challenge turned out some fics well over 1000 words, so who knows what will happen?). So, yeah. That's my actual November goal. Why not? I've done it before and I can do it again. I'm even giving myself weekends (or rather, my work week) off this time, so I really think I can do it. The problem is that writing begets writing, and I've been attacked by plot bunnies big time already this month and want to write them all RIGHT NOW, dammit. But no. That's not the deal. I need to get back into the habit of spending some time writing every day, so I'm forcing myself to write only one measly fic a day. Boo. But on the bright side, it's almost midnight. That means I can whip up another one, right? Right? (I was counting my days a bit differently at first, by the way, but I've changed my mind. I'm going to count them like the calendar does, despite when I sleep, which was my original plan.) Yeah...I'm so gonna. See you on the other side. For now, it's Castle that's talking, but I'm sure that will change. Incidentally, for those keeping score, Nov 1 yielded about 500 words (200 of fic and 300 of something else entirely), Nov 2 did the same, and Nov 3? Well, who knows? I can write for that day in nine minutes, so we'll see!
