Too cool not to share...

A while back, I stated that everyone whose opinion I cared about in the sci-fi world loved the new Star Trek film. The opposite can be said of the new Transformers film, which I have not seen. And this...this...this is simply the best summary of my thoughts on Transformers II that I could imagine. In fact, I think we need a public one for Transformers One to start with.*
More Than Meets The Eye
*I got the first film from Netflix, and while it was by no means the worse film I've seen, it was also in no way memorable and in some ways downright forgettable. The second seems to me to be more of the same - except that it doesn't even pretend to look good in previews. I'll see it, but I'll see it from Netlix again, thanks. Not one bit of my cashy money went to that huge gross. Sigh...just because it makes money doesn't mean it's good, folks!
