My list of 'things to post' is growing again, so here's a few quick links to some fun I've found lately:

1-the best My Little Ponies EVER.  http://tinyurl.com/aba33f

No, really.  See Captain Jack Sparrow as you've never seen him before.  It's terrifying, but oh, so right, too.  There's even My Little Boba Fett, My Little Edward Scissorhands, and My Little Cthulhu!  I confess to not truly understanding the Pony phenomenon, but these are some lovely little creatures and exquisitely done!  You should also check out the Dr. Horrible Ponies here.

2-a filk band I've somehow missed for a few years.  http://www.possibleoscar.com/

Fellow Firefly fans will love Captain Mal, and I'm obsessed with Wolverine, too.  And At The Con?  L.M.A.O.

Go.  Listen.  Have fun!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (or, you know, three years ago when I lived in Texas), a website called Channel 101 aired a web show called Chad Vader.  This show chronicled the adventures of Chad, younger brother of Darth.  It was canceled after only two episodes.  Fans were outraged, and the creators vowed to give the fans more Chad in any way they could.  They took their story to YouTube and to the web in general via their own website, where it was seen by over seven million viewers on YouTube alone.  The universe rejoiced.  George Lucas himself granted the show his 'George Lucas Selects' Award, and Chad got an appearance on Good Morning, America.

Time passed, and Chad continued to wow his fans, but like all good things, his adventures came to an end one day.

Sure, he did some guest spots for video holiday cards and the like, but his timeslot was taken over by others within a year.  It seemed that young Chad would never step out of the shadow of Darth.  He was resigned to the back lot of washed-up internet sensations, where he would spend nearly two years without a feature role.

But then came the DVD release of his adventures, complete with bonus features!

Suddenly, Chad was BACK!

The Force was strong with him again, and he was approached with a new script.

It was a continuation of his tale, and Chad jumped at the chance to share more of himself with the galaxy.

We, his fans, have a responsibility to support this new endeavor.

Welcome, one and all, to Chad Vader, Season Two:

For the next episode or to catch up with season one, head to blamesocietyfilms YouTube site, where you can find all the Chad you can handle!  You might also visit the main Blame Society Productions website, home to all things Chad.

I so thought I was done playing on the interwebs tonight, but, well, I'm not.  Why?

BECAUSE THE ROUND OF EIGHT HAS JUST OPENED FOR VOTING AT THE SECRETARY OF GEEK AFFAIRS SITE!

Whoa.  Sorry.  Got a little excited.  But who can blame me when these exciting battles are coming up?

Watch as Kaylee Frye dukes it out with Simon Pegg for the Do'urden crown while over in Bombadil John Hodgman takes on Gabe and Tycho!  Feel your pulse pound as Joss Whedon does battle with the sleeper Felicia Day and cheer as Wil Wheaton takes on Steve Wozniak fresh on the heels of his victory over none other than Stephen Hawking!  That round showed us every vote counts!  Make your voice heard!  Go vote!
