This is Pleasant Mountain, which is about 40 minutes from my front door by car. Drove up there today and hiked the old Fire Warden trail. It's a 2.5 mile hike to the summit, which is at 2006 feet.
I'm home and showered now and dinner is coming! Yay!
Actually, I know I'm very lucky to live where I do. Sure, the snow's comin sooner rather than later, but that ain't so bad. When that happens, I ski this little hill.
Well, my dearest, that's because no tornado has come to take you away from there yet. If one does, you are welcome to land here. Just try to aim your house away from mine, okay? Go for the neighbors across the street. That'd be good.
Then I can take you here. It's not even a hop, skip, and a jump.
