Wormhole Pirates On Orbis 3 Release Party - Or Where's Waldo, Ninja Style (Yet Again)

Yesterday, PJ Haarsma had a book release party at a Barnes & Noble in Oceanside, California for the third book in his Softwire series, Wormhole Pirates On Orbis 3. He managed to wrangle two of his friends into attending with him. The event was a smashing success, with over 100 children attending. The men of the hour managed to get everyone's items signed before one of them had to rush off to some wedding (congrats Maurissa and Jed!) and I'm sure that once the totals are tabulated, KNTR will have benefitted substansially from this little shindig! (25% of the proceeds from book sales during the event went to KNTR! And don't forget that you can use this coupon to have your purchase at any Barnes and Noble in the US this week do the same!) And now, cue the music.

PJ's hair's shorter, but still long (and Nathan didn't get to cut it!), and well, those shirts...*grin*


Leave it to Alan to keep the other boys in line.

At least until everything's all said and done, and then all bets are off! (This is Alan pretending to give away a date with Nathan - I just love PJ's reaction!  Then again, I just love PJ, so it's all good.)

P.S.-anyone know an economical way for me to hop from Atlantic to Pacific routinely?  *g*  (To clarify, I was not at this event, which, for the record, is a damn shame.)

Great cause and good for Nathan. Cute and charitable! Hey if you find that economical east/west coast travel thing let me know. Airline credit card and frequent flyer miles are my friend. I just had to live 4,000 miles from my family...hmm maybe sometimes good thing.

I hear ya. I live 2000 miles from mine, and that's often ok, but danged for being on the wrong coast sometimes. That said, I just woke up from a nap and I'm off to the beach now, so...not too bad.

Oh, and the things not changing thing refers to PJ and Nate. PJ always wears black. Always. And Nate's current favorite shirt pops up on no less than four occasions in this LJ, all of which are references to four differeent occasions in RL. He loves that shirt.

I like some things to stay the same (oh, who am I kidding. I like EVERYTHING to stay the same. But in this case, I'll be perfectly content with these touchstones.)

To be fair, PJ's shirt is a different one than the last few pics, but it is, of course, still BLACK. Unlike Nate's, which is just, well, Nate's red and white plaid shirt. Again. (Love it!)

Now, go listen to Far Side of the World and work on that travel plan!
