Wabbit's Winter Wonderland, Day 5

Ok, so new name.  I like alliteration.  Sue me.  Or you know, not.

So, here we go again, folks!  Sorry if I'm annoying anyone, but I'm having fun, so if so, well, bugger off!

This one is far too good for using only once a year!  It earned a spot with the faves!

Yep, that trio hangs with Raphael, the molecule from hell, and little Captain Jack.  Quite an honor.

What else lives on my desk?  Well...there's a little wabbit and a funny dog.  And Mulder and Scully, for the moment, though my usual Jack will likely be back soon.  This is my holiday wallpaper.

But what's this?  There's usually something on top that speaker.  Oh, noes!  Where did it go?

Nope, nothing but a Care Bear over there...this is BAD.  That spot usually looks like this!

And last I saw the TSM, he was indeed wearing his costume...this is VERY bad...

He said something about climbing practice the other day (he does speak now, albeit very badly)...sigh...

Next up-the wabbit winter tree-thing, which seems like the perfect place for climbing.

Let's see if we can find the little troublemaker...perhaps the Jedi can help.

Nope.  Maybe the Wookiee?

No?  Let's ask younger Luke, then...

Still no help, even with his wise old friend.  Hm...let's see...no hiding from these guys.  Resistance is futile.

Nope, even the Borg can't find him.  Marvel comics represent!

Dang!  Even Spidey is stumped.  Guess that leaves only one hero left!

Artoo!  That monkey's broken loose again, see if you can't lock him down!

Aha!  I knew I should've went with the astromechiest hero first!  Thanks, little man!

Sigh...what's a wabbit to do?  Captain Hammer Monkeypants is up the tree.

Honestly, I just didn't have the will to fight with him.

But I did insist he take off his costume.

Happy holidays from my whacked out little world, folks!

(And TSM-you better be glad that angel is there.)

That monkey certainly gets around!

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, he's about to go visit The Softwire...once he gets edited a bit! I'm telling ya, there WERE monkeys!

(This is a direct uplink from my phone, so no Photoshopping yet!)

GUESS who *DEMANDED* to come back from Austin this morning?
YOU GOT IT. TSM.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, guess whose box he snuck into on the car ride home?
*sigh*
I am in for it.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-31 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
The TSM and wabbit b. proxy? Oh...how much fun is that?

*evil, evil, evil grin*

[identity profile] lemonpiefirefly.livejournal.com 2008-12-31 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yeeeeeeeah....

Hrm.
Wonder if I'm, uh, living vicariously through....

NO. No. Absolutely NOT.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-31 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
*dies*

*iz ded*

[identity profile] charlie-bz.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
I'm jealous of your ornaments. *going off to sulk*

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
(((charlie)))

The Force will be with you...always.

[identity profile] charlie-bz.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
F the Force. I want a Chewie ornament!

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Blasphemy! Um...let's see...that one is this one:

http://www.ornamentmall.com/2004-Star-Wars-8th-Chewbacca-amp-C-3Po_p_2060.html

But I personally like this one better-I missed its release (it was before I started paying mild attention to such things):

http://www.ornamentmall.com/1999-Star-Wars-Chewbacca_p_1147.html

Not too bad, still...and that was a super quick search!

One thing about Chewie-he's heavy! Hard to find a good place for him!

[identity profile] charlie-bz.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
Look at me - going all dark side on you and you keeping control of your midichlorins and trying to bring me back. which you've succeeded!

And thanks for the links!

also, completely unrelated. I just completed Season 1 of Stargate. I'm anxiously awaiting Season 2 disc 1.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
Anger, fear, aggression...a Jedi craves not these things. *G*

You are quite welcome, friend.

And, um...completely related to your last sentence;

SQUEEEE!

First evil cliffie! Oh, I adore you already, captain!

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
And just to use this icon...cuz, well...I want to...

YAY AGAIN FOR ANOTHER CONVERT!

[identity profile] lemonpiefirefly.livejournal.com 2008-12-31 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
WOOOOOOOOOOOT!

SG-1 REPRESENT!
*squuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeee*

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-31 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
Well said, young Daniel. Well said.

[identity profile] sgteam14283.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
that's awesome! I love your ornaments, someday when I have my own tree it might look like that lol.

over the holiday my sister and I were at the mall in the Hallmark store and she was just fascinated by the Star Trek Communicator ornament that had Kirk talking. ^-^

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
I actually cut a few out-the regular Yoda one and then the ones that show my not-quite-so sci-fi side...like Apple Dumpling (oh, how I loved her when I was a little, little girl) and The Poky Little Puppy (oh, ditto). I figured the post was getting a wee bit long.

Anyway...thanks!

Glad you liked it!

The tree looked great this year-nice shape and everything, which is amazing, considering I bought it sight unseen (it was all tied up) on Dec 21 in a blinding snowstorm in the FREEZING cold for a $10 donation.

It's amazing what a bit of warmth can do!

[identity profile] sgteam14283.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
that is true.

we have a fake tree 'cause of my allergies and my mom doesn't want to take care of a real one, but we make it look nice.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Nothing wrong with an artificial tree. Cheaper and probably more environmentally-friendly (though I think that could be debated...) than a real.

[identity profile] sgteam14283.livejournal.com 2008-12-31 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
true, although nothing beats the smell of fresh pine in the house.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-31 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
I grant you that. I do like it, too. Here. Have some cooking pie smell instead. Hm...pie!

[identity profile] sgteam14283.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
mmmmm....pie.... :D

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Um...could you be more specific? *grin*

[identity profile] lfvoy.livejournal.com 2009-01-01 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I get for posting comments to LJ when I'm sleepydrunk. What I meant to say is that I love your ornaments and this little writeup was even better.

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2009-01-01 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
It's 11:21PM, and I'm sleepydrunk now. Lovely! Even better, I'm watching an old school favorite movie: The Monster Squad. Glad you liked my dorky fun!

I saw them on your thread the other day, and I think I posted there, but if not, let me just say here that I think they are FANtastic!

Good show!

Now, on to other things. How do you put a pic in a comment? I wanna do that when I grow up!

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2008-12-30 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah! That makes sense! I didn't know you could do that!

Sweet! Thanks!

[identity profile] taj-mahal07.livejournal.com 2009-12-28 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
*loves* You have such GREAT ornaments!! :-D Love the Scully/Mulder wallpaper....*happy sigh*

[identity profile] jackwabbit.livejournal.com 2009-12-28 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks! I just realized I forgot a pic yesterday that should go up here! I'll do it when I get home. I enjoy my little sci-fi tree.

As for the wallpaper, I generally have a Captain Jack Sparrow wall up. Pretty much all the time. But for December, in honor of one of the oldest fandom traditions I have been privelaged to know, I switch to TXF. I use of of about three different walls, all of which are from said tradition.

Here's a post to explain why December is for Philes:
