Just one more Trek post....

Ok, not really.  There will probably be more.  But can I just say that in reading comments on Wil's blog and in many other places that I've found out that other people love The Undiscovered Country as much as I do?  And can I share that that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy?

K, thx, bai!

p.s.-I did already know that ST6 was a fan fave (I was involved in a great debate over on startrek.com about the age old 2 vs 6 battle some years ago), but it's still nice to hear that while Khan will always be tops in numbers, those of us who love 6 the best are most definitely not alone.

p.p.s-anyone else happy to see the odds vs evens trend bucked, too? Long live Trek 11!

Duh- it's AU. This makes the possibility for an 'odds > evens' timeline, and this is sort of #1....

Five was the first one I saw in theaters, but since my family told me we were going to see Star Trek, and Star Trek at that time meant only Picard and Co. to wee little me, it left me thinking "Whuh? This isn't Star Trek!"

Six was the first one I saw in theaters AND understood what was going on. I still adore Six.

Ah, five. Does anyone but me think of five when young Kirk smacks his head on the bulkhead support in eleven?

(Scotty, in The Final Frontier: "I know this ship like the back of me hand!" SMACK!)

Yeah...good times.

Six rocks.

As for my first, we didn't go to movies much when I was little, and my mom was very careful in what we could watch, so I don't think I saw any in the theater as a wee one, but I clearly remember seeing Khan on TV when I was somewhere between six and eight.

I saw six with my best Trekkie friend in high school.
