Save The Music!
And now, some senior band members to brighten your day:
This is a vid of two elderly people at the Mayo clinic playing a piano in the foyer. I guarantee that heir joy, expressed through music and dance (yes, dance), will bring a smile if you have any soul at all. Rock on, people. Rock on.

This is great.
I had a good day, one of those rare ones, middle of last week, where I had some clients that were just lovely, and some time to enjoy them. Then work got "normal" again, but just makes me think about the fact that I don't *actually* hate clients, not always.
One was an older gentleman that reminds me of the one in the video. He told a little joke. He said, "You remember a guy, name of Art Linkletter?" "yeah," I said. "Well, he had this program where he talked to kids" (Kids Say the Darndest Things) He went on,"Well, he asked this little boy on the program why he looked so sad. The boy replied,'I just lost my dog. He died.' To which Art rplied,'well, that is sad, but you'll see him again some day in Heaven.' The little boy just looked back at him with a confused expression on his face, and thought for a moment. Then he said,'Mister, what would God want with a dead dog?'"
It's kind of a grim little story, especially since I'd just told him his dog needed surgery he could scarce afford, but that made it all the funnier.
